What I Read This Weekend.

Hey y’all since I didn’t get to do a weekend reads because I went to the State Fair of Texas with  Mays, I thought I would do a retrospective post of what I was able to read over this weekend.

Here is what I read over the weekend:

Shadowshaper by Daniel José Older (audio) – I have been listening to this over the past week and I just finished it this morning.  I will be doing a post about whether I will be continuing this series.

Akata Witch by Nnedi Okorafor – This was a book that was on my October TBR and I’m enjoying it so far but I don’t feel like a ton is happening.  It is mostly set up. I’m about halfway through with this one so I should finish it in the next day or so.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling – I feel like I have been reading this book forever, even though I am thoroughly enjoying it.  I feel like this is the best one in the series so far and I cannot wait to get through the last 200 pages.  I should finish this by Wednesday.

and I barely started

Lincoln in the Bardo by George Sanders – I’m not that far into this one so I do not have a formulated opinion on this one.  It is my first experience with “experimental” fiction so I’m interested to see how I get on with this one.

This is what I have been working my way through this weekend.  What did you read this weekend?  What is up next for you?  Let’s talk in the comments.

Much Love,

Tasha
