Currently Reading: November 20

Hey y’all! I didn’t get to do a Friday reads post so I thought I would talk about what I’m currently reading and what I plan to read the rest of this week because I have 2 days off for American Thanksgiving.

Recently Finished:

I managed to finish 3 books for Contemporary-A-Thon last week.  Not exactly as good as I wanted to do but I enjoyed everything that I read.  Those books were:

Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty

The Uncoupling

The Uncoupling by Meg Wolitzer

Pride and Prejudice and Mistletoe by Melissa de la Cruz (which I LOVED and have a full review of here.)

I will talk more about these in a forthcoming wrap-up.

I also listened and finished the audiobook for American Fire: Love, Arson, and Life in a Vanishing Land by Monica Hesse for Non-fiction November (which I’m kinda sort of participating in).

Currently Reading:

Shadow of Night by Deborah Harkness – This is book 2 in the All Souls Trilogy and it continues immediately where book one keeps off.  I am using this as one of my tomes for Tome Topple and I have about 200 pages left. I’m really enjoying it.

Wonder Woman: Warbringer by Leigh Bardugo – I am about halfway through this one and I’m liking it okay. I hope the action will pick up soon.

Kiss Me in New York

Kiss Me in New York by Catherine Rider – I started this for Contemporary-A-Thon and I didn’t get a chance to finish it, so I want to go ahead and knock this one out.  It’s relatively short.

Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake – I just started the audiobook last night and am only about 6% of the way in, so I don’t really have an opinion about this one.

What I Plan to Read Next:

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling – I can’t wait to read this for the first time.  I really want to get the last two in the series read here in the next couple of weeks.  This was a goal that I had for 2017 (to complete the Harry Potter series).  This will also count as my second pick for Tome Topple.

What are you currently reading?  What do you plan on reading over the break?  Let’s chat in the comments.

Much Love,
