Friday Reads, November 8, 2019

Hey y’all! Today I wanted to talk about what I plan to read over the weekend. I’m so excited because I have been flying through books this week and I hope to continue it over the weekend. Here is what I hope to read over the weekend and into next week.

Tome Topple starts on Saturday and the first tome I will be picking up is

American Gods (American Gods, #1)

American Gods by Neil Gaiman – My audiobook hold for this came in and I want to make sure that I get to it before it expires.

The Tome I will be reading physically is

Stamped from the Beginning: The Definitive History of Racist Ideas in America

Stamped from the Beginning by Ibram X. Kendi. – This is a non-fiction book that is about the history of racism in America. I am also reading this for Non-fiction November and I’m so excited to get into this one.

I’m currently in the middle of Bunny by Mona Awad and I am loving it! It’s so weird, but I am intrigued to see where it is going. I’m also about and hour into the audiobook of A Woman is No Man by Etaf Rum. I’m enjoying this one but I don’t have strong opinions because I’m not that far.

These are very lofty reading goals but I think I will be able to manage it pretty good.

What are you planning on reading this weekend? Let’s chat in the comments.
