Christmas Romance Reviews

Hey y’all! If you are following me on my social medias, which you should be, you would know that I have been on a huge Christmas/holiday romance kick. I just eat them up like candy. Today I wanted to talk about three Christmas romances that I have read recently.

Christmas at the Chalet: A Novel

Christmas at the Chalet by Anita Hughes

Felicity Grant is a wedding dress designer debuting her new Winter collection in St. Mortiz on New Year’s Eve. Before she left New York she got into a huge fight with her boyfriend because she thought that he was going to finally propose and he didn’t.

This was exactly what you expect it to be. The setting was so cute and the other plot lines that are explored throughout the book will totally have you invested in them. There were points where the pacing was a little slow for my taste but overall I still enjoyed this one.

I received this for review from the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
Angels at the Table (Angels Everywhere, #7)

Angels at the Table by Debbie Macomber

This was my first Debbie Macomber and I really enjoyed it. This is about a Lucie and Aren who have a meet cute on New Year’s Eve with the help of a meddlesome angel. They have a fun night together and really hit it off but Lucie is hesitant because of the timing. Aren proposes that they meet in one week at the top of the Empire State Building to give Lucie time to think about it. Events happen and they are apart for a period of time and run into each other again when Aren does a review of Lucie’s restaurant.

This was so adorable and I thought the angels were hilarious in the story. Their intentions were so good but they just keep messing things up. Lucie and Aren’s relationship progression was so cute. The conflict at the end was a little eye roll inducing but I do tend to forgive some things in Christmas romances.

Christmas Angels

Christmas Angels by Nancy Naigle

Liz Westmoreland has fond memories of visiting her grandparents at their inn in the mountains of North Carolina. When they sold the inn to travel, Liz was devastated. Many years later she gets the chance to purchase the old inn property and Liz jumps at the chance and is excited to restore the in to its former glory. With the help of a local contractor Matt Hardy she hopes to get the inn back operational.

This has definitely been one of my favorite romance reads. The story was so adorable and I swooned at the progression of their relationship. It was so sweet and cute and felt so natural. My biggest complaint was the conflict that pulled them apart at the end was kinda stupid and literally could have been resolved in a page. But overall, I highly recommend this Christmas romance because it was so adorable and sweet.
